Before turning to a career in writing, Arianna Warsaw-Fan Rauch established herself as one of the leading violinists of her generation. She has appeared as soloist with numerous orchestras, has performed at the Ravinia, Verbier, La Jolla Summerfest, Music@Menlo, and Aspen Music Festivals, and in halls around the world, including New York's Carnegie and Alice Tully Halls, Washington DC's Kennedy Center, Montreal's Salle Bourgie and Maison Symphonique, Berlin's Philharmonie, and Tokyo's Suntory Hall.

 

Arianna was featured in jazz trumpet legend Chris Botti's tour, as well as in the legacy tour of Sir James Galway. She has appeared as concertmaster of the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester, the Juilliard Symphony, the McGill Chamber Orchestra, and the Pacific Music Festival Orchestra. 

 

She has worked with such conductors as John Adams, Boris Brott, James Conlon, Tan Dun, Bernard Haitink, James Levine, and Xian Zhang. Arianna received her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Juilliard School. She attended Phillips Academy in Andover, MA while studying privately at the New England Conservatory in Boston, MA. Her teachers include Masao Kawasaki, Cho-Liang Lin, Lynn Chang, Magdalena Richter, and Almita Vamos.
